In February 2025 we hosted an important fundraising event with over 200 people from the corporate world present and we were lucky enough to have the incredible support of Danny and his team from Bright Spark Lighting to ensure the day went without a hitch.
They worked hard to set the room up so that it felt like a very
professional light, bright venue and throughout the event itself were
responsible for all the technical aspects – not an easy job when you
have 9 speakers on and off the stage throughout the day, each with
different walk-on music, slides and tech requirements and I can honestly say we did not have one single hitch. Danny worked with every speaker to ensure that their session perfectly hit the mark, nothing was too much trouble for him, even with the more diva ones amongst us and our often changing needs! His attitude was always positive and “can do” and the speakers and presenters commented on how helpful and flexible he was, nothing was ever too much trouble.
The whole venue looked and felt very professional with excellent light
and sound provision, and the Bright Spark team transformed what might otherwise have been described as a large, empty, dated space into something that added to the overall success of the event, for which I am very grateful. Danny delivered a brilliant result and I was confident throughout the day that all the tech was safe in his hands – I would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for similar help and support. We put out a call out for help with the uninstall and install of some cinema equipment that we needed put into our building as part of the development of a new community space. We needed this done on a very tight turnaround. “We approached Danny just before Christmas with a project and a very short turnaround time. Despite an extremely busy time of year, he was quick to send a proposal though and communicative throughout the whole process, sending reasonable and cost effective options for us, highlighting his genuine nature, not trying to upsell but really wanting to get it right for our event.
When installing the lighting Danny explained the whole process and made sure that we understood how it would look before he started, as well as how to easily manage/work it (beneficial for someone not very ‘techy’ like me!). Following the event he has also offered maintenance of the lights and a take down service.

He fit in the work around a busy school timetable, disassembling our 28-year-old equipment and ensuring that our lighting rig and power supply was suitable and safe for use, he then installed new state of the art equipment and spent the time ensuring that systems worked smoothly. Danny made multiple return trips to the school to help train staff in using the equipment as well as ensuring that the equipment met the needs of the drama department right the way through to our exams. “
